The last transnational meeting under the project "Designing curriculum for teachers and other professionals working for individuals with intellectual disabilities" was held on Friday, 31 March 2017 at the CJD Frechen campus in Germany. All partners participated to the meeting.
During the meeting, the training program prepared for the non-field professionals working in the field of special education through taking into account the findings of the current situation and the needs analysis study and, the latest developments about the e-learning portal were discussed with the partners and the dissemination activities of the project were planned.
Monica Bröhl made the opening speech of the meeting on behalf of CJD. Then, ZİÇEV researcher Uğur Ersoy summarized the current situation and needs analysis report and talked about the dissemination meeting held in Turkey in this context. Ass. Prof. Necdet Karasu from Gazi University shared the details of the training program designed for the non-field professionals working in the field of special education and explained how the training program will be embedded into the e-learning portal, its functioning and the pilot trainings, which will be conducted in the scope of the project. In the course of the meeting, ZİÇEV project coordinator Asuman Erdem informed the partners about the meetings and other activities to be carried out in order to disseminate the project results and summarized the expectations from the partners in this context. The meeting continued with the evaluations of partners and mutual exchange of ideas. After the distribution of the participant certificates, the project team made observations in the CJD-Frechen campus and exchanged ideas with the employees.
